AMOXIVET
Each mL contains:
Amoxicillin (as Trihydrate) - 150 mg
Indicated against Salmonellosis (calf enteritis and septicemia). Colibacillosis (mastitis, enteritis, pneumonia). Clostridial infections, metritis, foot rot and abscess, erysipelas, leptospirosis, pharyngitis, and tonsilitis, respiratory infections, calf scours, pneumonia, secondary infections associated with viruses and post-operative wounds.
To make 50 ml, slowly add 45 ml of Sterile diluent or 5%. Dextrose USP to each vial using sterile syringe and needle. Shake vigorously until a solution is obtained.
Each dose is equivalent to 1 ml
For intramuscular use only.
Cattle/Horse (10mg/kg): 1 ml per 15 kg bodyweight.
Calves/Swine/Sheep/Goat (15mg/kg): 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.
Piglets/Dogs/Cats (15 mg/kg): 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.
Fighting Cocks (37.5 mg- 75 mg/bird): 0.25 ml- 0.5 ml per bird.
Administer once to twice daily, as recommended.
Treatment should be continued for 5 to 7 days.
Do not use in animals with known specific allergy against peniciliins. Do not use on small herviboressuch as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs.
